Antebellum
Get Down Into the Dirt
Obviously Antebellum got down into the dirt to write
for this EP. This 4 piece has a very dirty sound that
is sonically pleasing at the same time. Fervent drumming
combined with erratic, thriving bass, nasty, jazzy guitars
and unpolished vocals make this band worth giving a
chance. From the opening lines of the title track the
band takes the listener on a sometimes dreamy, sometimes
aggressive, and consistently pulsing journey through
struggles, disillusionment, and spirituality. Personally,
this EP has been in the player since I received it,
and I cannot recommend them more. If you haven’t,
check out Antebellum.
